Colorado Vista Landscape Design is proudly partnered with the City of Fort Collins, Plant Select, Gulley Greenhouse, Northern Water Conservancy District,  and many other local and statewide green industry companies presenting workshops, seminars and resource information.  Our teaching also includes presentations to local colleges to inspire and assist students majoring their education in an exciting career in the green industry.

We have worked with the City of Fort Collins and Plant Select for developing design publications to help our community grow and share in understanding of gardening in our high desert climate.

A Xeriscape Design Solution

This video demonstrates how to take a section of a Colorado backyard with full sun (west exposure) and transform the area into a four-season garden using only plants promoted by PlantSelect (PlantSelect.org). I designed this garden in 2013 for a conference presentation for PlantSelect and the principles, plants and techniques still hold true to date.
